So we got our packs ready with lots of water, healthy munchies for energy, hats, sunscreen and rope. (All D&D players KNOW that you never go adventuring without 50’ of rope! LOL) We also donned our boots and grabbed our walking sticks.
Okay, only I grabbed my walking stick because I’m old and I have a bad knee. But on the plus side I think it looks cool. Or at least that’s what I keep telling myself.
Anyway, fully packed and ready we hit the trail.
As we got closer I began to get worried because we weren’t deviating from the main trail and that there were still a LOT of people around. I thought maybe I had missed something.
Soon we came around a curve in the trail and there, in all its mysticism and PEOPLE was the horrendously misnamed Hidden Valley.
Maybe next time I’ll just look for the “everybody knows where it is” valley. Maybe THEN I will find lost treasure.
