We went to California to visit my mom for Thanksgiving this year and we finally got to log caches in a state other than Arizona. It was wonderful! The area was very picturesque and the caches were fun. My boys and I had a great time bouncing around in the beautiful locales.
Before I launch into HOW it stood out I want to go into a little detail on how caches are hidden for those of you who are not in the know.
Generally caches are hidden in a very clever manner. They can be magnetic bolts hidden in plain site. They can be fake electrical panels. They can be fake rocks or logs. They can be tucked under shrubbery or hidden in the crook of a tree. In other words they are usually not easy to find.
That was not the case for this particular cache as the following photo will clearly display.
