Can you imagine waking up every day and thinking “well, it’s time to go to the beach… And get PAID.
I lived on the beach for 39 years and I always loved that feeling of seeing the beach for the first time every day. It was always a wonder to behold. No matter how many times I saw it, it always filled my heart with joy. There is something indescribable about the ocean and its serene strength. You have the sounds of the seagulls and the crash of the waves; you have the smell of the salt air and cocoa butter tanning lotion; you have the feel of the sand between your toes and the heat of the sun on your face. There is nothing else like it.
Now, I know that most of you are thinking that they still have to rescue drowning victims and such but, let me tell you, I went to the beach thousands of times and I saw the lifeguard run to the water MAYBE 3 or 4 times in 30 years. Maybe I was just on the wrong part of the beach (or the RIGHT part) but I rarely saw it happen.
But of course there are downsides to every job so let’s list them…
1) um… Wait, I got this… How about…
Yeah, I got nothing.
It may not pay much, I really don’t know, but this is a dream job.
